I needed to find a new OB/GYN because my previous doctor wanted to retired, and because a family friend's daughter was pregnant, I was highly recommended to her by them. I didn't have insurance at the time, so I had to pay out of pocket, with the fee of $100, which was cheaper than what my previous clinic charged. The facility seemed ok, I wasn't quite sure if i was very comfortable or not, mixed feeling. The wait wasnt long, and I got to see Dr .Wang pretty quickly .I handed her my previous reports for her to view. Yes, she went straight to the point but she neglected to do my annual checkup, like what other doctors would do and considering i was a new patient of hers. Minus a brownie point. After my pap smear, i was really shocked to hear i will have to bring my own specimen to the laboratory across the hall and pay as well. I thought we weren't suppose to be handling our own samples???? I immediately felt very uncomfortable having her as my primary doctor. The story doesn't end here. I received a call to set up another appointment to see Dr. Wang again to go through the medical report. I asked what the fee was and was told $160-170, depending on the doctor. That threw me off. I felt I was being rip off just because I didn't have insurance and they are naming their own price. I never been to a doctor who jacks up the bill like that; usually it's either equal or lesser amount. I was really upset. I decided to find another doctor. I tried to go pick up my report, physically being in their facility but the receptionist refused to give it to me. I even said no matter what the medical result was, I am entitled of my own medical report even if i have to pay less than $1.00 per sheet. Not only that, she was rude.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go see her; especially ,for those who does not have any medical insurances. Even if you do have insurance, make sure your bills are accurate.

I found a new doctor who is honest, and i love her.
