In my 20+ years of experience, I have and continue to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds with a variety of life challenges. When I work with people, I use my knowledge, skills and experience, but ultimately I use myself. I strive to listen completely at every level, to hear not only where my client is but where he or she needs and wants to be. Therapy is a partnership, whether it's cognitive behavioral, solution focused or more emotional, relational and/or psychodynamic.
I have found that non-judgement, respect, empathy, integrity, honesty and a willingness to share the journey with the other, leads to clients reaching their goals and experiencing more fulfilling, satisfying and peaceful lives.
