Patrick McShane, DPM graduated from School College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 1990. He completed a one-year preceptorship with Donald Gentry, DPM in Kansas City, Kansas in 1991. He opened his Springfield, MO practice in September of 1991. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. McShane has been a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association since 1992, and he has served on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Podiatric Medical Association from 1992 to 2001. He was the president of the MPMA in 2000 and 2001. He has served as a Missouri delegate to the APMA for over 10 years, most of those years meeting in Washington, D.C. Thus, he is well versed in podiatric issues at the state, national and international level.
