During my last four years as a psychotherapist at Mount Sinai Hospital, I have treated a diverse patient population that struggles with anxiety, depression and issues that arise during life changes and role transitions. It is my goal as a therapist to help my patients gain a deeper understanding of their motivations, emotional reactions, defenses and thought processes, improving not only their self-esteem but their relationships as well. Gaining insight through the therapeutic process is an invaluable experience. It reveals why certain patterns in your life repeat themselves and why you make the personal and professional choices that ultimately define you. Working at Mount Sinai Hospital has provided me with unique opportunities to advance my clinical training. On top of my graduate degree, I have received advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and completed a post-graduate practicum in psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioral therapy.
