Master Carlos Gracie Jr. has designed an effective learning plan or program of study that allows for students to naturally progress from the white belt and learn usable skills immediately while progressing towards their black belt step by step. Classes and their respective curriculum at Gracie Barra are connected elements of a larger structured learning plan called “Programs”. While all Gracie Barra curriculums are 16 weeks, students will get in and learn at any point in the program and repeat. All skill levels work together to learn and perfect each technique with a truly effective mutual learning method.
