I have always enjoyed working with couples, families especially with adolescents and adults who suffer from depression and anxiety. I have also been successful with individuals who are maintaining sobriety from drugs and alcohol and are in need of personal growth that had been hindered by the process of addiction. Issues of veteran’s and active duty personnel are also few areas of focus for me since I served in the United States Air Force as the Chief of the Mental Health Clinic at David Monthan Air Force base. I have helped patients who have suffered grief over loss of a significant other and have dealt with relationship losses such as separations and divorce and career issues. I was trained on systems. My interventions are cognitive behavioral and/or insight oriented and are tailored it to client’s needs. I am a spiritual person and use my spirituality to guide my treatment.
