Maite is a certified nurse-midwife at The Birth Center at Southwest CARE, the only freestanding birth center located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For pregnant women and their families, she offers prenatal care, an out-of-hospital birth experience in a home-like setting, comprehensive postpartum care, home visits, lactation support, and initial newborn care. Full spectrum women’s health care is also available, including physical exams, gynecology, paps, birth control and sexual health screening. Currently accepting new clients.
