Cheryl brings a fresh approach to treatment, one that focuses on timely, lasting and real change. She has solid grounding in traumatology and is dedicated to its study and application. She is versed in effective, evidenced-based models of treatment such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR and Ego State therapy. A tenant of her approach is to help people find integration, wholeness and resolution in their lives. In addition, she is active as a consultant, providing training and clinical consultation to therapists specializing in trauma. Her core interests are working with dissociative disorders and complex PTSD, behavioral addictions, binge eating, phobias, optimal health and healthy body image, cancer, panic disorder as well as removing creative blocks and developing positive intimate relationships.
