Chronic pain is largely thought to involve abnormal pathways that develop in the nervous system which includes the nerves, spinal cord and brain. Dr. Schneider is trained to assess your pain condition and provide you with the best possible treatment options. After determining the correct diagnosis of your pain, we will formulate an individualized treatment plan.
Pain can be managed through both pain medicine therapies and interventional pain management treatments. Our physicians provide both therapies, focusing on interventional pain management treatments which actively and aggressively treat the illnesses, conditions or injuries that cause pain and limit function. The advantage of interventional pain management is that it encompasses the full spectrum of care from the initial diagnosis to a personalized treatment plan and ongoing pain relief programs. The goal of interventional pain management is to assist patients in avoiding surgery and reducing the patient's reliance on medication management, all while improving the patient's quality of life.
