About
As a clinical psychologist and owner of Fairview Psychological Services, I specialize in comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services for adults. Since opening Fairview Psychological in 1987, my commitment has been to provide quality therapy in a safe and supportive atmosphere for every client I see. I have extensive experience helping women and men recover from complex issues of childhood sexual, physical, and emotional abuse or neglect, and childhood exposure to alcoholism, addictions, and family violence. My relationship specialties include couples therapy, divorce prevention and recovery, anger management, conflict resolution, infidelity or other betrayals, and transforming unhealthy relationship patterns. I also help individuals and families struggling with current alcohol or other addictions, chronic stress, or complicated grief and loss.
My approach to therapy is eclectic and personalized; and I am actively involved in helping my clients reach their goals. Appointments are interactive, with joint decisions regarding both direction and pace of the therapy process. All therapy work is guided by a personal and treatment philosophy of empathy, compassion, and mutual accountability.
