Deborah has 25-years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. She has worked with people from all walks of life through unique experiences. She taught inmates diabetes management skills at a Women's Federal Prison, educated clients with the Texas Commission for the Blind, counseled students affiliated with an Eating Disorder Program, individualized plans for residents at a psychiatric hospital and consulted with dialysis units and physician clinics. Deborah's passion is to teach, counsel and encourage people to reach their potential and achieve their health goals. She promotes a holistic approach to life.
Her private practice setting offers flexible hours including early evening and Saturday morning appointments. The initial consultation is 75-minutes. Time is spent learning about your routine eating behaviors and lifestyle. Your concerns and questions will be addressed. She will assist you in targeting habits, behaviors and dialog that may have previously hindered your efforts. A flexible, personalized eating plan will be developed. Frequency of a 45-minute follow-up is individualized. Time is spent evaluating your day-to-day progress. Behavioral skills will be taught as a strategy to assist in challenging situations such a night eating and bingeing. You will receive up-to-date relevant educational materials.
