Depending on the case and patient procedures are performed in either an out-patient endoscopy center or an in-patient hospital gastrointestinal lab. All facilities are state of the art and convenient to all those living in north Dallas. Safety, comfort, convenience and efficiency are paramount. Dr. Mantas respects your time and busy schedule and strives to keep your total appointment time to less than 2 hours.
To improve his procedures Dr. Mantas retrospectively and methodically analyzes all aspects of his procedures in order to make his next ones even better. He monitors established physician quality indications such as withdrawal times, complications rates and adenomatous polyp detection rates. His goal is not the mean or national standard but excellence.
It is important to understand that some physicians including surgeons have decided to add endoscopy to their practices. However, they lack the expertise and dedicated training to provide exceptional care. Dr. Mantas is one of the few expertly trained doctors who can provide such service.
With the information obtained from your procedure Dr. Mantas is then able to utilize a variety of prescription and over-the-counter medicines both pharmaceutical and complementary alternative to manage your condition.
