Elite Cosmetics specializes in facial rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction using cosmetic injections such as Botox and dermal fillers to help our patients revive a more youthful appearance. In the interest of assessing overall health during aesthetic treatments, we have a Board-Certified Internist on staff who specializes in primary care for adults. Rest assured that you will only be treated by professional licensed practitioners at Elite Cosmetics. Facial Rejuvenation: Botox injections are non-surgical procedures that can help smooth moderate to severe wrinkles in the following areas:
-Forehead lines
-Frown lines (between eyebrows)
-Crow's nest (around eyes)
-Bunny lines (horizontal lines at top of nose)
Botox is a neuromodulator, which means that it temporarily interrupts the communication between a nerve and its muscle, causing temporary relaxation. When the muscle relaxes, the lines and wrinkles of the skin smooth out.
Therapeutic Botox: Botox has been used for decades to treat a variety of conditions including over-active bladder symptoms, muscle stiffness and spasticity of the limbs, cervical dystonia, eye muscle problems, and excessive underarm sweating.
At Elite Cosmetics, Botox is used primarily to treat tension headaches, migraines, and TMJ Syndrome, which is a condition related to the jaw joint, often caused by clenching at night or during times of stress.
