Ukiah Nutrition & Wellness Center is a whole foods based nutrition practice. Our mission is to help as many people as humanly possible be healthier and happier without the use of unnecessary drugs or surgery. We do this by using Nutrition Response Testing, whole food supplements and herbs, and most importantly, dietary changes. This is a holistic approach that includes body, mind, and spirit, and compliments any existing health care program.
About Our Nutritionist: Sarah J. Kenney is a Clinical Nutritionist and holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She has extensive training and experience in assessing the body to find nutritional weaknesses, using a variety of modalities and then working to strengthen the weaknesses using whole food nutrition and herbs. As a professional in the field of clinical nutrition, Sarah feels that a diseased or sick body is a body out of balance.
In her clinical nutrition practice, Sarah uses a combination of Nutrition Response Testing and Contact Reflex Analysis to determine which body systems are weak and out of balance. She tests for food intolerances and customizes an eating and lifestyle plan based on individual needs. Sarah specializes in natural hormone balancing, digestive issues, detoxification and weight-loss protocols, and helping restore energy and balance in the body.
Sarah stays abreast of current medical research and health trends and regularly confers with top medical doctors at medical conferences and nutrition seminars throughout the country. She attends over 100 credit hours in the field of clinical nutrition each year.
