Haven Care LLC operates five assisted living residences in the greater Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Three other highly rated major hospitals are within seven miles. Birch House has private rooms for 5 residents and specializes in Alzheimer's and dementia care. It blends into its neighborhood and looks like just another home. There is always at least one staff member on duty and Haven Care provides regular in home health care with both a staff RN and regular MD visitation. Haven Care takes particular pride in the quality of security they provide. Top quality home style cooking and snacks are provided. Birch house is not a medicare or medicaid facility. Birch house is what is known as a micro-community type facility. Micro-community assisted living facilities are preferred by many people because they do not feel like an institution but more like a home.
