Sunshine Senior Care
Sunshine Senior Care is located in Denton, Maryland. We provide in home care to clients and pride ourselves on offering independent living. Our in home care often makes it possible to delay hospital or facility stays. We offer a support system for our clients, and their families as well, during what is often a very stressful time. We are known for a thorough hiring process. Our entire staff, are employees and not independent contractors. We run thorough background checks and check references during the hiring process. We conduct trainings and a clinical supervisor oversees our staff. An assessment is done and our clients are assigned a level of care. Our caregivers offer companion care and will help with tasks from meal planning and preparation to laundry. They will sit and read to their client, as well as take them shopping. We have CNAs who help with any necessary bathing, dressing and feeding care. Our CNAs will also provide respite care. Our nursing staff will take vital signs, assess respiratory and cardiac conditions, and are trained to provide wound care, fill medication planners, instruct their client regarding medication and will act as a liaison between their client and doctor, as needed. Transportation is provided across town, or across the country depending on what is necessary for our client. We are happy to provide a high level of care to our clients, specific to their needs. Independence and happiness often go hand in hand, and that outlook is respected by our staff.
