As the motto suggests, the first facility was open and run by an entire family. The facility started with the idea of family, and as it has grown the idea has held solid. Everyone staying at Constant Care Assisted Living should consider themselves member of a larger family and community. Everyone there is dedicated to helping each other out and finding ways to bring meaning and fulfillment to their lives. Additionally, one of the unique services provided is a lecture series offered to the friends and family of residents. These lectures focus on common situations and medical issues that often affect the elderly. The lectures serve both to help people understand each other better, but also to facilitate conversation in order to help bring families together who may be having trouble coping with illness or loss of ability. This commitment to emotional health and familial connections can also be seen in what's known as ""life enrichment"" and proactive health care. The idea behind this philosophy is that it's not enough to simply live within Constant Care Assisted Living, but to actually find a real life there. One's emotional health is vital to a happy life. As such residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of shared activities which help form bonds and create connections of friendship between residents. Our proactive health care also means that we place an emphasis on dietary needs. However, we don't believe in traditional institutional foods. We carefully create menus that offer variety and taste great. We even have seasonal items to celebrate various festivities and occasions. As with everything at Constant Care Assisted Living, we strive to provide a fully enriched experience that nourishes both mind and body.
