The Foothills is a 3,500 sq. ft., 6 bedroom, 5 bath, custom rambler, located in a country setting, surrounded by pasture, livestock and the foothills of Mt. Rainier.
The Foothills is noted as a benchmark in the community of a residential care in Washington State. The physical setting is lovely but more importantly, the Mitchells share the gift of hospitality and the expertise to deal with the complexities of the aging process.
Wendy Mitchell is an RN graduate of Seattle Pacific University. Formerly the Nurse Manager for the Emergency Medicine Service at the UW Medical Center, she brings 26 years of emergency/critical care and nursing management experience to her role as the Foothills Care Manager.
Jeffrey Mitchell graduated from the University of Washington. Jeffery has extensive experience in home design in the Northwest and continues to combine beauty with function through his innovative designs for each resident. Jeffrey serves as the Foothills Administrator.
The most important characteristic of the Foothills, is that our Seniors improve in health and well-being and begin to enjoy living their lives again!

The Foothills is a family home for cognitive Seniors who are medically fragile. We fill the need for Seniors who prefer living in a retirement home atmosphere without the isolation of apartment living.The Foothills is a 3,500 sq. ft., 6 bedroom, 5 bath, custom rambler, located in a country setting, surrounded by pasture, livestock and the foothills of Mt.
