About
Golden Years was designed from the ground up with senior citizens in mind. From the beautiful front porch, to the home-cooked meals, this is a special place. Although our rooms are furnished, Residents are encouraged to bring pieces of their own furniture and belongings to surround themselves with a familiar setting.
Our non-smoking facility has circular indoor walking paths, open spaces, gathering rooms and calming colors. We have single occupancy rooms with private half baths.
Our well-trained staff works closely with residents to ensure they receive the best possible personalized care. This care is coordinated with input from the resident, family, physician and friends. From this input, a personalized service plan is designed, that includes personalized and group activities – from cared games, to Bingo, gardening and household tasks – all designed for companionship and making our residents feel vital.
We sponsor outings to local points of interest, monthly care parties (open to public), and monthly parties with family and friends invited.
We have an on-staff beautician, and host a monthly foot care clinic.
