Saint Joseph Senior Care is an assisted living and nursing facility. We opened our doors in 1996 to serve the need of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide compassionate and quality care to our residents. The sisters of Saint JosephÆs senior care were directed by the founder Blessed Edmund Bojanowski to care for the spiritual and physical needs of the community. Saint Joseph Senior Care provides an assisted living facility for 60 residents and a nursing facility for 50 patients. We strive to provide your loved one or family member with the best care but recognize the importance of maintaining their dignity. We are proud to serve our community with daily activities including arts and crafts, music, dancing, cooking classes, daily discussions, exercise outings, daily chapel for mass or devotionals, a large dining hall for residents to gather and connect during meals, flower shows, barbecues and whirlpool tubs. Residents at Saint JosephÆs have access to a gift shop, housekeeping services, laundry services and a beauty shop or barber shop. The trained staff is available 24 hours a day for residents to assist with needs including personal hygiene, medication monitoring, nursing services, rehab or rehabilitation services and social service needs. We monitor all residents on a regular basis to see if there are any cognitive or physical changes. This monitoring is important when dealing with elderly patients. We maintain close contact with the families of our residents to ensure open communication. As a family member or loved one ages it can be difficult for the family to adjust to the changes. We will support the family as well as the resident so the transition is minimal for all involved.
