They do all the tasks for you so you can enjoy seeing your parents, relatives, or friends in a comfortable safe environment. The cottages have four levels of dementia care. There is mild, moderate, late stage, and hospice. Each cottage has activities geared to the residents. They have music therapy, exercise programs, art, physical therapy, and video monitoring for the patients protection. Irvine Cottage 8 has a van and electric wheel chairs so patients can enjoy outings twice to three times a month. Other activities are bible reading, karoke, pet therapy, and chaplain visits. Best of all we provide healthy meals, snacks for residents three times a day. Each cottage has muted colors, contrasted doors, bright lighting, locked garages, fire safety training, and natural lighting. Many have art murals, massage chairs, and memory cues using placemats and boards. The cottages are peaceful and often have scenic walking paths. This is an excellent facility for those with dementia to live because they receive excellent care.
