Richland is in the southeast Washington desert, and is part of the Tri-Cities area. It is lo-cated on the mighty Columbia River where the Yakima and Snake rivers join it. Though desert, it is a major agriculture area of the U.S. growing a great variety of crops due to irrigation from these rivers. There are beautiful parks along the riverfront.
Pioneer Home is on a quiet street with easy freeway access. Shopping and a hospital are close by. A senior center and other day centers are available. Our entryway is nicely landscaped with two waterfalls. Back deck is available for eating or watching the sunset.
