The Safe Haven Home of Gooding is located at 745 California Street in the quaint community of Gooding, Idaho. We are especially proud that our House Manager has been cited by the Idaho Business Review as a ""Health Care Hero"" for her dedication to our resident's care. Our overall philosophy of service is that every resident of our home must be treated and respected as an individual. We believe that each person should have as much of an independent lifestyle as their circumstances will allow. We also do everything we can to ensure that our residents stay in close contact with family and friends. Each room offers a half-bath, bed and dresser with an intercom, cable hookup and individual phone access. Also included are home cooked meals and laundry service. Our care includes both those who need short term sevices while recovering from medical procedures or those who will require long term care. By a free assessment and consultation with a Safe Haven Health Care Program Manager, we can help you determine just what level and duration of care is appropriate for your unique circumstances. Residents also have full access to our hospital and skilled nursing facility in nearby Pocatello, where extensive therapy programs including psychiatric services are available. We at the Safe Haven Home in Gooding recognize that making the proper arrangements for a loved one is a difficult decision and an emotional challenge for everyone involved. By focusing on the individual needs of our residents in our cozy residential home combined with our extensive medical services, we manage to be attentive to required services without being intrusive.
