I have mixed feelings about this place. I few months ago my headaches had increased in intensity and frequency. I was looking for an alternative to help treat the issue and to be honest I was a bit desperate. I was intrigued by the exercises and I agree that proper maintenance and diet is the best preventive medicine. The gimmick that they use as part of your treatment plan, is specific equipment and exercises to target the spine. The Home Care Kit that they sell you is about $350. It includes: Headweight harness $75, T-pull $126, Noodle $30, Weights for head harness $40, Wobble $28, Nutrition Book $25 (This wasn’t in my kit but I still paid the same price)Denne rolls with sleeves $33. In all honest, what you get isn’t worth $350 but I was desperate and willing to give it a shot. I blame myself more for the stupidity of purchasing this equipment without trying it out first at their clinic to see if it would irritate my neck injury more (which it did). I had mentioned to them several times about some of the problems I experienced with certain exercises and weights but I was still willing to continue the treatment because Matt isn’t a bad chiropractor and he seemed genuine in helping me but he didn’t really grasp what I was going through when I told him of my troubles and suggested I buy a different set of weights for my back, and to continue doing the exercises everyday. Again, I was stupid and didn’t stand up for myself enough or properly convey what I was going through… and so I again tried to make it work. But after a month I still had bad headaches and I decided to also get steroid injections to bring down the inflammation in my neck. I took two weeks off of doing the exercises and chiropractic treatment before my injections to see how helpful the injections might be after I got them. I was hoping the injections would solve my problems and I could continue doing the exercises. What I noticed in those two weeks was because I didn’t do the exercises, some of the pain I was experiencing went away and I didn’t need certain areas adjusted. I still had my migraines but other areas of my back weren’t as bad and my sciatic pain went away. I also got a stern lecture from my doctor about continuing to do something that wasn’t helping as much as it might have possibly made things worse in my neck. If you are interested in going here, I would suggest you try the equipment out first before you purchase, because not all injuries are same but they like to give everyone the same exercises and equipment. Trust your body and stand up for yourself if something doesn’t feel right… for me lesson learned. Also, I am selling some of this used equipment cheap, so if you are interested, leave a message with your email and I will get back to you. They may have good intentions and all businesses need to make money, I get that. But when a patient expresses that the treatment isn’t working as well as hoped and expressed that things might have been made worse because of it, and then to charge me for breaking my contract of continuing another month of treatment… in that I feel that maybe it was all just about the money and not about the proper treatment plan for specific injuries.
