I was literally a broken mess when I began hand/arm/shoulder therapy in early November 2017 with the gifted Barbara Fisher. She managed to get my limbs and digits functional over the course of 2 1/2 months, a major achievement given the shape I was in. She is kind and gentle and personable (not a universal quality of all medical practitioners, as many of us know!). We had marvelous conversations throughout my visits, and she is now my newest friend! That does not always happen, but it was a welcome relief to be in her presence. NovaCare is lucky to have her--and should do whatever it must do to keep her happy. I hope they keep that in mind. The "suits" should understand that as a retired English professor of 35 years, I NEVER offer gratuitous praise. When I DO praise, it is sincere.
