Robert De Padua, MD is a specialist in internal medicine and occupational health with over 20 years of quality care experience. Currently, he is the Medical Director of Employee Health at Memorial Hospital. Born in Ft. McClellan Aniston, AL and raised in Jacksonville, FL, he calls Jacksonville his home, where he attended Bishop Kenny High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and pursued his medical degree abroad at the University of the East in the Philippines, his family's native country. He completed his internship and residency at Griffin Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine, which is one of three healthcare systems nationwide that has performance-based criteria that encompasses clinical quality outcomes, resource utilization and clinical process indicators that measure top performers at the overall hospital level. Dr. De Padua enjoys fishing in his spare time. He also established Mission House, a clinic that provides free medical services to the homeless and currently serves as Medical Director of the clinic. Dr. De Padua is a true philanthropist and a physician at heart.
