Dr. Herscovici moved to Tampa in 1991; joining Florida Orthopaedic Institute after completing a six-month AO European Traveling Fellowship and a one-year trauma fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to his trauma and posttraumatic reconstruction practice, he is a nationally recognized lecturer in the care of diseases and injuries of the foot and ankle. His continued interest in dealing with problems of the foot and ankle resulted in him being granted a three-month Foot and Ankle fellowship, in Cincinnati, Ohio under G. James Sammarco, M.D., one of the world’s leading authorities on diseases of the foot and ankle.
