Dr. Benjamin L. Gray is a board certified hand and upper extremity surgeon. He specializes in surgery of the hand, wrist and elbow, treating all ailments from trauma, arthritis and infections to bone, joint, tendon or nerve problems. He is particularly interested in Dupuytren's disease and nerve injuries, performing nerve repairs as well as nerve transfers. Dr. Gray is the principal investigator at the University of Pennsylvania for a world-wide study on painful neuromas as well as a national study looking at outcomes of nerve injuries in the arm. As Director of Hand Research, he works closely with the Human Motion Laboratory to develop novel tools for treating hand conditions.
