Dr. Chandra specializes in radiation oncology, with an emphasis on using cutting-edge techniques to treat a variety of cancers. A West Coast native, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He then pursued advanced training in chemical biology and clinical research. Dr. Chandra prides himself on staying current in the ever-changing field of radiation oncology, but he is most passionate about patient care. His goal is to ensure his patients feel taken care of on a 360 degree basis and know he is their advocate and partner. He is a firm believer in the philosophy he learned during his education at Johns Hopkins: it’s just as much about understanding what sort of patient the disease has as what sort of disease the patient has. When not working, Dr. Chandra enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, good food and coffee. A former Eagle Scout, he also serves as a leader in his son's cub scout pack.
