Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have always enjoyed biology and learning about the intricate workings of the human body. Going to medical school enabled me to pursue that knowledge. While in medical school, I realized that pediatrics was the career for me. Pediatrics allows me to convey my knowledge about the growth and development of infants, children and management of childhood illnesses. What I want my patients to know about me: My goal for my patients is for them to grow up to be healthy and happy. I provide guidance along the way to help them and their families achieve this goal. Caring for my patients and their families is a unique privilege that comes with great responsibility.
