Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I wanted to be a doctor from the age of three when I had pneumonia. My doctor had made me feel better, and I wanted to help people feel better. I pursued specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to practice medicine holistically. As a physiatrist here at WellSpan, I feel gratified by the opportunity of working with an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals in Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, the Center for Mind Body Health, and Nutrition just to name a few. I enjoy empowering patient in lifestyle change and in taking personal responsibility for their healing process.
