Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I grew up with medically needy siblings. Those experiences were formative. They made me want to understand the health system and care for others going through difficulties. What I want my patients to know about me: I am committed to providing evidence-based, comprehensive care to my patients. I'm happy to discuss our care plan to help families understand. Prior to WellSpan, I worked as a physician at a lactation center that provided me with more experience in this area. My experiences as a mom give me a more full perspective on the joys and difficulties of parenting. Parenting is scary, but its comforting to know that others have similar experiences. We are all in this together.
