Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My initial spark to become a doctor was when I saw firsthand how illness affected several of my family members. I have always been curious about science and loved helping people. Medicine is a natural way for me to bring these loves together. It is always interesting-from learning new ways to care for patients or learning about the stories of peoples lives. I am always pursuing new therapies and knowledge to help people live their best and healthiest lives. Beyond my mainstream medical education, I am trained in holistic and integrative medicine, as well as in medical acupuncture.
