Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Growing up I knew I wanted a career where I could help people and bring a smiles to all those around me. My exposure to the health care field at a young age shed some light into my career path. I used to spend the summer with my aunt who was a family medicine doctor in rural area where there was a shortage of physicians and resources. Seeing the impact she made on her patients' lives inspired me to do the same when I grow up. What I want my patients to know about me: Working with kids is a gratifying endeavor. I love their honesty, innocence and interest in everything around them.
