Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I knew that I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon after I participated in an externship while an undergraduate. Orthopedics combines all of my interests in anatomy, biology and biomechanics. The ability to apply those disciplines and make a direct impact on the lives of my patients' musculoskeletal health gives me an amazing sense of accomplishment. I enjoy being a partner with my patients as they regain their musculoskeletal health and return to a pain-free functional life. What I want my patients to know about me: Foot and ankle surgery is complex and I enjoy its intricacies.
