Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: The human body has always fascinated me. I did develop interest in medicine at early age as I was around people who were in medical field. I loved how they established relationships with their patients. I also saw how physicians help overcame acute illness and cared for chronic illnesses. I started my career in medicine by taking a pre-medicine major in college. I was interested in other careers in college, such as computers as it was new and evolving at that time, but soon realized that a hobby can't be mistaken for career. This further strengthened my continued interest in medicine. What I want my patients to know about me: I am an easy-going person.
