Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose medicine because it combines my love of science with being able to help people. I chose family medicine because it allows me to deliver babies, care for patients for their entire lives and develop long-term relationships with my patients. Coming from a family of immigrants and hard-working people with humble beginnings, it was important to me as a doctor to meet the needs of the underserved. I'm happy to have found a position at WellSpan, where I can care for diverse patient populations such as Spanish speakers, the Plain community, and farming and rural communities.
