Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My interest in medicine started out when I was an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Athletic Training. I already knew I liked learning about the human body and enjoyed helping athletes and others get back to full health, but by becoming a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), I would be able to do much more. I did become a Certified Athletic Trainer, but soon went on to graduate school to become a PA-C and am very glad I did! What I want my patients to know about me: I genuinely enjoy helping my patients, and one of the things I like about Orthopedics is getting to see the benefits of the care we provide almost instantly.
