Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I learned about the physician assistant profession when I was in college, and I knew this was the right career path for me as I could work independently and collaboratively with physicians in any field of medicine. I always have been interested in the sciences, double majoring in biology and exercise science in college, and have had a passion for helping others- so medicine was the right fit for me.
