Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I enjoy helping people. My grandmother was a nurse at Planned Parenthood, and I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I realized women's health was my passion early in my career. I have a thirst for knowledge, so I knew nursing school was not the last step on my educational journey. I have held many roles in health care; I have been a nursing assistant, nurse intern, registered nurse, and a nurse practitioner. Each role has molded me into the provider I am today, and I can truly say nursing is the most rewarding career imaginable. What I want my patients to know about me: My goal is to care for women during all stages of their life.
