Dr. Hanlon received her medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School and completed her residency in neurology at the University of Illinois Hospital and her internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital, all of which are in Chicago.Her interest in neurology began with nursing degree working in neurosurgery at the University of Chicago.
Board-certified in neurology, she was an Assistant Professor of neurology at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Then served as a general neurologist at Hammond Clinic for 18 years.Specialized in stroke and headache as the director of Primary Stroke Center at St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart, Indiana, and as a neurologist at the Neurological Institute & Specialty Centers in Merrillville, Indiana. Joined the Beacon Medical Group in 2015 and most recently is working part time specializing in stroke care.
Dr. Hanlon is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
