Leah Brown, MD, specializes in sports medicine and treatment of the knee, shoulder and elbow. Dr. Brown attended the University of Georgia, where she was a 14-time NCAA All-American, and two-time NCAA National Gymnastics Champion. She was inducted into the University of Georgia’s Circle of Honor in 2016 for these accomplishments. Dr. Brown served 12 years active duty in various medical capacities for the United States Navy and is the recipient of nine military honors and awards, including the Bronze Star and Navy Commendation Medal. Today, Dr. Brown continues her military service as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Navy Reserve. As the official Phoenix Mercury team orthopedic surgeon and orthopedic consultant for the Tempe Union High School District, she provides advance sports medicine services for athletes at any level.
