Dr. Kevin O’Donnell is a board-certified orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon, who specializes in advanced joint reconstruction, complex traumatology, and arthroscopic joint repair. As a highly-sought after sports medicine specialist, Dr. O’Donnell has served as an assistant team physician to the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers, as well as for nationally-ranking collegiate teams such as Villanova and St. Joseph’s University.
Dr. O’Donnell earned his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society for graduating at the top of his class. Subsequently, Dr. O’Donnell performed a 5-year-long surgical residency through the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. It was here that Dr. O’Donnell honed his surgical skill, receiving extensive training in fracture repair at the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami—the top-ranking Level 1 Trauma Center in Florida. While serving as a resident, Dr. O’Donnell was offered the unique opportunity to serve as an assistant team physician for both the Miami Marlins and the University of Miami Hurricanes’ football team.
After completing his orthopedic residency, Dr. O’Donnell performed a sports medicine fellowship through the Rothman Institute of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Here, Dr. O’Donnell received specialized training in arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee surgery, as well as in minimally invasive joint repair.
Currently, Dr. O’Donnell serves as founder & CEO of The Cornerstone Courses, the world’s largest audio review lecture series on orthopedic surgery and a vital tool enabling orthopedic surgery residents to pass their board exams.
