Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I chose gastroenterology because the scope and canvas of this specialty is very broad and as a physician, it gives you a wide variety of ways to treat and help your patients. It is a very exciting field to be in to make a difference in your patients’ lives.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
Given my extra year of training and board certification in transplant hepatology, I have a passion regarding diseases of the liver. I also have a special interest and focus in treatment of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy traveling with my family and taking our little daughter to the parks, museums, and zoo. I love to stay physically fit, exercise, and meditate.

Graduated from medical school among the top 5 of my graduating class Passed Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology among top 1% of applicants
