My PCP sent over a referral for a colonoscopy. I received a letter in the mail that I needed to call to schedule an appointment. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and wouldn't schedule my appointment without a release from hematology. I called back to get more information and clarity on the process and she continued to talk down to me and seemed very agitated that I was even calling or trying to understand the process. These offices should be more caring and patient and be glad that patients are trying to be informed. I'm calling my PCP to get a referral elsewhere. No need to be treated so poorly over the phone just trying to make an appointment.
