Jian Pang, M.D., earned her medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing, China. She went on to do her internal medicine residency at Beijing Anzhen Hospital and Saint Mary’s Hospital, a Yale University affiliate. Dr. Pang continued with fellowship training for endocrinology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Pang spent six years as a research associate at Brigham and Women's Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, and worked as clinical faculty at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. She has a special interest in thyroid diseases and has done scientific research in calcium metabolism and bone health at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Pang is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Pang enjoys worldwide travel, medical teaching, working out, cooking and painting.
