Dr. Betler is system director of AHN Cancer Institute for the Southern Region and for Oncology Care Coordination. As a highly skilled radiologist, he works with a multidisciplinary team to develop a customized plan of care for each cancer patient using the newest technology and proven therapies.
Dr. Betler earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed residencies in internal medicine and radiation oncology through the AGH-WPH Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Betler has served on the teaching faculty of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Allegheny General Hospital since 2009, where he has given presentations on different types of cancer as part of the Oncology Lecture Series. He is a member the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society, and the American College of Radiation Oncology. He has published research articles in many professional medical journals.
