Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose to pursue a career in the medical field because I like to be part of a team striving toward the same goals -- helping a patient feel better and overcoming obstacles. What I want my patients to know about me: I have been a physician assistant since 1999. I have spent 15 years of my career providing emergency medicine and urgent care. I have always had an interest in orthopedics, so in 2010 I started working in an acute orthopedic injury clinic part time. In 2012, I decided to join an orthopedic practice full-time where I continued to take care of acute orthopedic injuries and spine.
