Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My younger brother was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when I was 6 years old. I watched the miracles of medicine save his life - nurses, therapists, doctors, interventionalists, philanthropy, technology- and I always knew I wanted to be a part of it. Growing up in medicine, I learned first hand the importance of patient care and the positive impact it has on the world. What I want my patients to know about me: I hope patients come with questions about their healthcare. I love having an open dialogue and providing education. There is no question too big or too small.
