Dr Joseph Humpherys is an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and joint preservation. He is an expert in shoulder, hip and knee arthroscopy with an emphasis on knee ligament repair/reconstruction, joint cartilage restoration, hip preservation and patellofemoral joint abnormalities. Dr Humpherys completed his Orthopedic Residency in Modesto California where he took care of collegiate and high school athletes. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Missouri (SEC Division 1), where he served as a team doctor for football, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics and baseball. He currently serves as the team surgeon for South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
